Wow I think I just had the absolute best brisket sandwich I have ever had. It was so smoky and had the perfect amount of fat. It wasnt greasy, but so tender and soft. The sauce is delicious. I also got a half rack of ribs, which were amazing. So tender and smoky and definitely fall off the bone. The wait was a bit long, I had to wait 20 minutes. But that seemed to be unusual, it was probably the ribs. Most everyone were able to leave pretty quickly. But I think it was worth the wait! Thank you for the delicious sandwich!
This place is awesome! And it’s not expensive! The most expensive item is like $16. The food is great and come in large portions. The fried rice is some of the best I’ve had, and the brisket is the real KC barbecue they promised. I’ll be going back until I’ve tried everything. Don’t let the location throw you off, this is a hidden gem.
The brisket yakisoba is to die for! It is a stellar combination of eastern and western tastes for an amazing treat for your taste buds. On top of this it was very filling and not very expensive. Would definitely recommend The Smoked Asian to anyone. ❤❤❤
At first I was a little bummed that they were out of brisket because I've heard great things about it. But I had the pulled pork and it was amazing, I was not disappointed. I will get there earlier next time to get some brisket!
My son and I visited one evening. It smelled great. They were very nice. They were out of brisket, which is understandable. As a southerner, I understand that that is just how it goes late in the day. They were also out of a few sauces. Which is a little odd, because it shouldn't be too tough to just make some more sauce. Still, I didn't mind too much until I overheard one of the workers mention that he was going to make some more sauce for his own meal that he was taking home. They had the ingredients and could've made more sauce. They just didn't want to? We placed our order, and DANG was it expensive. I thought I was getting bbq from a food truck, not sitting down at a fancy restaurant. The food did taste great. But the portions were extremely small for the price. Additionally we were overcharged by a good bit. I brought it up and they did refund my money after a little convincing. I didn't think much of it until the person in line behind me had also been overcharged by a good bit. Maybe it was a coincidence, but it made me feel that they are either incompetent or untrustworthy. The small portions, high price and sketchy dealings didn't sit right with me.
